Slettestrand Beach is only 400 meters away, and a variety of beautiful trails and hiking routes pass directly by the hotel.

Since the spring of 2022, Carmilla and Villy have passionately and lovingly run this historic hotel, which has stood for over 100 years. Together with their staff, they create a Nordic and relaxed atmosphere where the quests can enjoy first-class meals made from local ingredients.

“We booked a gastronomic stay, and from our arrival on August 13th until departure on August 15th, it was truly a wonderful experience. Our room, 206, was spacious, clean, and had a nice terrace. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menus and wines, often with a humorous remark. On the first evening we enjoyed the North Sea menu, which was excellent. On the second evening we had the 4-course menu chosen by the chef, and it was truly a fantastic experience. Four very tasty dishes, presented like small works of art, and in portion sizes that left us feeling pleasantly full. We would love to come back another time.”
